Wild Card: Colts vs. Jets Open Thread

Many didn’t expect us to reach this point and in some cases Colts fans didn’t either. However we are here and like the last four games in a sense have been this is the playoffs and a “must win game”.
My keys to the game:
Colts OL: Like all our games but still is true. We must have consistent line play to help out Manning and allow Addai, Brown and Hart to do a respectable job running the ball. This will limit the success of there pass rush and Blitzes.
Colts WR: Lets have another game where the receivers don’t have a ton of drops.
Colts D: We limit LT and Green and we win this game. Sanchez isn’t going to be able to carry the load by himself. There run game is crucial to them having any success in this game on Offense.
GO COLTS!!!!

Colts 21 – Titans 7
HEYOH! The Colts offense is rolling. Taj Smith is officially the special teams unit’s lucky charm. Pierre Garcon has been dominant for the last two and a half games. Justin Tryon looks like the best free agent pick up for the Colts in a long time.
Freeney says, “Fine, you want to triple team me, I’ll strip sack your wide receiver.” He refuses to take “no” for an answer. Yes, I know, the Titans make a Colts team that has been struggling look like Super Bowl contenders but what a relief. Keep it going Colts!

There is no more room for error. The Colts head into tonight’s game against the AFC South rival Tennessee Titans needing to win the remainder of their games to secure a playoff spot. That job did not get easier following the Cowboys game Sunday, as Bob Sanders and Jerraud Powers were both placed on the injured reserve.
The Titans are facing a great deal of adversity as well, with Kerry Collins now starting at quarterback. The games against the Titans are arguably the easiest games on the schedule. This win on the road makes or breaks the season. Believe in Blue! Go Colts!
Colts vs. Cowboys: Open Thread

Keys to winning the game:
*Keep the Cowboys running game in check: Although they are without Barber they still have two capable backs, and the Colts are not exactly known for their run defense.
* Offensive Line: The Colts line must give Manning more time than they did against San Diego or we are in for a very long day.
*Wide Receivers: They need to improve their timing and reduce their drops. Look for Wayne to make up for his issues last week.

Colts v. Patriots Game Thread 2nd Half

The Colts offense pulls the team within one score but Indianapolis will need a defensive stop to start the 3rd Quarter or the team will continue playing a possession behind. The defense has struggled mightily as the Patriots offense has had their way. Keep an eye on Austin Collie to see if he returns.

Although circumstances may not be ideal for the Indianapolis Colts heading into their annual showdown with the New England Patriots, that will not stop fans for both teams pulling harder than they have all year for their team to win this one. With kickoff just minutes away, it’s time to get excited and give Manning and the boys some support from home to shock New England and all the experts with a big win today.
GO COLTS!
Bengals v. Colts Game Thread – Second Half

The Colts come out with a 20-10 lead. The first quarter was spectacular. The second quarter left much to be desired. Inconsistency still defines this team, and given the injuries it’s not difficult to understand.
An unusual gaff by cornerback Jerraud Powers. Brandon James going from highlight reel to two or three drops on easier passes and not running out his route. Javarris James continues to make the most of his opportunities. Kavell Conner and Fili Moala looking very good.
We will see what adjustments the team makes at half time to keep the lead and build on it.
