Each week, we’ll be scouring the net for team rankings from football experts, covering the previous week, and discussing them here. Let’s see what they have to say this week.

Average Ranking: 15.42 (previously 12.77)

CBS Sports – Pete Prisco – 16th (-3): If Manning doesn’t get it going against the Titans, they could be watching come playoff time. The next two weeks will decide their season with Jacksonville coming up after the Titans.
(Take five minutes to read Pete’s opening comments to his rankings; he talks at length about what’s going on with Peyton. He’s got it right, and we fans have to take a deep breath, support #18, and hope the Colts organization gets him some help… and soon.)

Cold Hard Football Facts -18th (-5): As great a regular-season QB Peyton Manning has been, he’s always been prone to the interception; his average of 2.8 INT per 100 passes is 16th among active QBs. Still, 11 in three games is kind of a lot, according to our advanced math.

ESPN – Kuharsky – 15th (-1): The Colts take their three-game losing streak to Tennessee; the Titans have a five-game losing streak.

Fox Sports – 16th (-2): It’s still almost hard to believe that Peyton Manning has 11 interceptions over his last three games. But even more surprising is that he has thrown four interceptions in each of his last two games. But even so, the Colts still have a shot to win the AFC South, but they need to get on a winning streak sooner rather than later.

National Football Post – 16th (-4): Peyton Manning has four games to put a run together in Indy. Can he do it?

NFL.com’s Collective Brain Trust – 14th (no change):

– 21st (-7): So, Bill Polian, how do you really feel about the play of first-round draft pick Jerry Hughes?

– 14th (-2): They’re trying to stay propped up with all their injuries, but even Peyton Manning isn’t immune to crumbling.

Sports Illustrated – Don Banks – 15th (-3): I see where Dominic Rhodes just returned to the Colts for a third stint, mere days after Laveranues Coles became a Jet for the fourth time. Can Junior Seau pulling on a Patriots jersey again be far behind? You’d never catch the Redskins and Albert Haynesworth having that kind of breezy, easy-come, easy-go relationship.

Sports Illustrated – Peter King – ? (Colts drop out of the Top 15):

USA Today – 13th (-2): Peyton Manning has 11 INTs in the 3-game skid.

Walter Football – 13th (-3):

WEEI in Boston – 14th (-1): The injuries to the offense have simply caught up to Peyton Manning and the Colts. Manning has thrown four interceptions in back-to-back games for the first time in his career. The Colts have no vertical passing attack and their run game is the worst in the NFL. Indy is bringing in free agent running back Dominick Rhodes to help salvage its rushing game.

Go Colts!!!
